Best Americanized Chinese place in Dover. Sometimes you just want some good combination plates, stirfry, and fried rice. They do an above average job on all that. Bonus is that the sushi here is also really decent. They give you big pieces of sushi too, and the rolls are very reasonably priced. Whenever we do takeout Chinese, this is the go to place every time.
Saigon & Tokyo is forever a favorite of mine. I grew up coming here with friends during high school and now I still enjoy it as an adult. We can always count on amazing quality from here. Most recently we placed a large order for a birthday dinner and could not have been more satiated. It's unfortunate that COVID has turned the establishment to take-out only, and I miss the durian shakes they used to make, but we still love ordering from here.
Just an absolutely solid takeout Chinese place. The food is good. They are fast. The prices are good. What more could you ask for? They do the yeoman's work of feeding my lazy ass quality food at a great price. It's definitely Americanized Chinese food but oh so good. I don't think anyone in the Dover/Somersworth/Durham area does as great a job.
Ok so, I went in today to get my usual ribeye PHO-which is the best IMO. But I felt a little hungrier than usual, so I asked for an order of spring rolls. Owner asked which kind, the fried version or the fresh cold un-fried version. She had mentioned peanut sauce comes with the cold spring roll so I decided to try that which I've never tried before. My one complaint about this spring roll was I should've Purchased a double order because happy to say, those spring rolls didn't see me coming nor did they leave the parking lot . The Peanut sauce was great complement to the Rolls-they were great! the owner is a very pleasant and personable woman when talking to others and Service was quick even though I walked in and ordered right then and there. If you have not gone, you have to try!
